Christmas Grotto Winner

Congratulations to Genesia Meynell who won our Christmas Grotto competition, she'll now have a christmas full of loads of Me&Yu clothes and jewellery, robots and a pink christmas tree!!!!

Christmas Grotto Winning Ticket

We we're supposed to draw the winning ticket over the weekend but all the snow chaos delayed us a day or so... but NOW all tickets have been counted and verified, folded and drawn.

We got Afflecks worker Chris to draw the winning ticket and can announce it is......number 150!

Check all your Me&Yu Christmas Cards to see if you're number has come up - the winner needs to contact us by email to angie@meandyu.com to arrange delivery / collection by 1st January. If
no-one comes forward with the winning ticket we'll draw another number!

A Winter's Tale in Preston

At the last minute Me&Yu has joined in the fun planned in Preston this weekend. There's two amazing linked events going on in the centre of Preston on the flagmarkets and it looks like it will be a fabulous festive celebration for anyone who wants to get in the Christmas Spirit.

The New Continental Pub in Preston is organising this fabulous 4 day Christmas Beer Festival - the tent is up, the kegs are ready and for a mere £2.50 entry you can enjoy all the fun. There's 100+ cask ales and real ciders, a lager, wine and spirit bar as well as speciality foods and a whole hog roast. As well as the food and drink - there is a host of musical treats to keep you entertained.

Across the road in the Old Post Office is Bazaar! A fabulous art and craft market with over 25 stalls of original products and gifts unique gifts that you just can't get on the high street. Me&Yu has a select range of products from cards and handmade gifts to our best selling tees and hoodies - and you can also pick up your FREE Christmas Card Flyer from us which can be re-used as a discount voucher for January. Only £1 entry or free if you've been to the Beer Festival.

Both events are running for a whopping 4 days - Thursday 16th December to Sunday 19th December from 12.00 midday to 7pm. And as the snowflakes are starting to fall it promises to be a fabulous winter wonderland to get you in the mood for Christmas!

Facebook Competition.....

You may have seen recently that we've set up a Facebook Fanpage. Our 'person' page Meandyu Afflecks has already got thousands of friends and Facebook will only let you have so many. So we've set up a fanpage to spread the word about Me&Yu and hopefully reach out to more people across the globe.

Me&Yu on Tour!

This weekend sees Me&Yu on tour! We'll be cropping up at a few craft and vintage fairs over the next couple of weeks.....here's the lowdown..

The first event is THIS SATURDAY 4th DECEMBER in Lancaster at the Storey Gallery.
We've just got a few cards and accessories tagged onto Lisa Wigham's stall at this great event which has a selection of handmade gifts, art and vintage.

Sunday 5th December sees Me&Yu visiting Prestwich, Manchester and joining in the festivities at the Prestwich Christmas Market. We'll be selling a select range of our handmade cards and gifts - including buttons, craft packs and vintage haberdashery (and a few t-shirts too!)

And last but by no means least is the Love Vintage London Christmas Festival. Roxanne will be heading down the motorway with a car load of Me&Yu clothing and accessories to show the London crowd what they've been missing - some Me&Yu!!!!!!!!!

I finally got time to print the t-shirts we're giving away if you spend over £30 (instore or online), believe it or not this is the first time we've had a t-shirt design with our name on it (I think) - only took 5 years.
