We're still working on new designs and hopefully should be starting printing next week, so we'll be posting loads more stuff then. But before that here's a sneak peak at one of our designs.

Designing new stuff

We're currently deep into designing a new batch of prints which means lots of coffee and screwed up pieces of paper, all going well so far, we've given ourselves 4 days to get things finished then the next couple of weeks will be all about getting screens ready and printing the new things!!!! it's pretty exciting for us, and this is probably the best bit of what we do.

Lack of blogging

Apologies for our sporadic blogging of late, we're currently in the middle of trying to do some new designs (quite alot) and producing an order for some shops in Japan. So unfortunately this post simply consists of that explanation and a photograph of the 500 swing tickets I have to attach string to this weekend (running a small fashion label is less glamorous than you might think!!!)

35mm Cameras & Film

We now have a small selection of vintage 35mm film cameras in our Afflecks store, we'll post pics everytime we get a new batch, we also sell colour and black&white 35mm film.

Thom - A Portrait of Modern Youth

Regular readers (if such a thing exists) of this blog will know that every so often we do a post about how we need to post more 'other' stuff than just Me&Yu news, this is then followed by something we've seen somewhere else on the web - this is that post!!!!!

I'm not sure how I found this film, but as I have a fondness for Australia, skateboarding and surfing (even though I live in England, can't surf/swim or skateboard) it seemed like an interesting watch - and it is!!!

New Fabric Print

Just this minute finished printing a new fabric run, this time it's some lightweight navy jersey with our new Aztec print, next week I'll be making it up into some t-shirts!!!

Random Studio things

Some random studio bits (now that we've got internet and I can post stuff while I'm there!!!)

This t-shirt appears every so often when I move things around, it was the first screenprinted t-shirt we ever did - a bit of Me&Yu history (although I do seem to have use it as a rag at some point)

Tie Dye Jumper Dresses

We have some extremely limited edition tie dye jumper dresses that we made today. They are based on our loose fit handmade sweatshirt pattern but with extra length and 2 side pockets, they have been made from a very colourful and bright tie dyed fleece backed sweatshirting (fleece backed means it's supersoft inside), we've made 4, we might make some more or we might not. They will only be available in our Afflecks store (from tomorrow)

Tie Dye Sweatshirts

These amazing tye dye sweatshirts are back - in very LIMITED NUMBERS. 

When Gordon went to the fabric store he came back with an armful of 

tye dye in different colours - we just had to make a rail of these! 

Each piece of fabric was enough to make a handful of sweatshirts in a variety of sizes . Once they're gone, they're gone!

New Website/Webshop

We're doing some work on the website and webshop so please be patient with any glitches or changes. These thing always take a bit longer for us as we do it all ourselves (and we sometimes have to learn what to do!!!) Here's a screen grab - visit our site to see it live

Mushroom Sweatshirts back soon!!!

I spent yesterday morning handprinting some new white sweatshirting with our mushroom design ready to make up some mushroom sweatshirts, so they'll be back in stock very soon!!!!

Tie Dye Fabric

We've just got hold of a new batch of tie dye sweatshirt fabric, so soon we're going to be making some handmade sweatshirts and jumper dresses - we'll let you know when they are  ready!!!!

New Jackets!!!!

We were having a tidy up in the studio when we discovered some old samples of sweatshirts we made from suiting fabric, they were never quite right so we confined them to a box a few years ago.  We had another look at them and decided they may just work with a zip. The first sample looked good, so we're going to add zips to the rest and then probably make some more, sometimes things don't work out at first!!!!!
