Paper Bags

Yesterday I had the unenviable task of hand screenprinting some new paper bags - this is a job that I put off for ages as it's kind of boring!!! - printing 500 paper bags!!!

Swallow Pants

We had such an amazing response to our swallow pants that we've had to print an extra roll of fabric.
We're also currently working on some in black with possibly a (weird) feather print.

Peach Floral

It's been our favourite fabric for so long. But like all good things they can't last forever.

We had a massive roll of peach floral fabric as Hannah T ordered the wrong size roll by mistake (ooops!) - it seemed like it was gonna last forever and then suddenly we've no more left!

We've still got a few things in stock but have limited sizes available and some items are reduced as follows:

New Stuff Online

We've added a few new designs to the online shop

New Things!!!!!!

We've been working on a few new designs this week.

The first is taken from an old photograph Angie took in Paris.

The second is the illustration - Tales of the Unexpected - Giant Swan versus Mandeer I posted on here earlier in the week. We've also done this on some handmade t-shirts (they've been cut out - we just need to sew them together next week!!)

This one is taken from a Jim Jarmusch quote I found somewhere - it's basically about original ideas and stealing them - so I just printed it straight as it was - it's definately a very interesting idea. Again we've done t's and sweats and a couple of lovely limited edition dark grey soft feel handmade t's (the fabric is almost like wool).

Finally a couple of weird transfer vests, I like to do these strange photo montages that generally involve weird faces so here's 2 new ones.

A few new things online

We've added some new handmade womenswear to the online shop, and we've also been busy printing some new fabric for some new jersey dresses. Our handmade trousers and t-shirts have been going extremely well, so next week we hope to add a few more styles of each - with some chinos, slouch style cord pants and new colours in the handmade t-shirts (we're also busy on new print designs)

New Pants

So I'm (Gordon)  in the shop and I get a text from Angie titled 'Sexy pants' - so I'm guessing it's for me - turns out it's a photo of a new pair of pants she's just made in our studio. Made from handprinted (by us) swallow jersey fabric - they should be in afflecks tomorrow and online soon

New Shop Photos

So we've rearranged the shop - it's kind of finished, just a few little tweaks here and there (and we need some new stock now!!!). Here's a few pics of what we've done so far

Bye bye wall - hello new shop

We've spent the last few days refitting our afflecks store, and swapping it all around. We said a sad goodbye to our illustrated wall but the shop looks great!!!!
