Fashion Show Pics!!!!

So a little while ago we loaned some clothes to Lauren Evans who goes to Sandbach Sixth Form college in Cheshire. She had the daunting task of organising a charity fashion show which was held on 11th February. We've got great respect for anyone who sets about such a difficult task- it's not easy believe us!!! You have to find willing models, shops to loan clothes, co-ordinate music and lighting, photographers, press and of course sell tickets. Lauren did an amazing job - not only did she manage to do all this the event made a whopping £620 for Cancer Research UK so here's a big thank you to Lauren and everyone else that was involved in putting together a great event  - it was a pleasure to help out.

Next week our wall is going live on Supermarket Sarah, for those of you not in the know here's the 'about'

Sarah's "walls" started in her living room but have now spread into public spaces; galleries, shop fronts, bars, receptions and most recently Sarah curated a 30ft high wall at Selfridges London Concept Store. The walls have taken on collaborative formats and so far Sarah has worked with brilliant designers including Fred Butler, Patternity, Donna Wilson, Tatty Devine and many more, forming a super network of young talent. Supermarket Sarah has become the place to go for inspirational delights and is regularly featured in media across the board from Style Bubble to the BBC news. From January 2011 Supermarket Sarah will be launching her super range of items in Selfridges London, on the ground floor! See you there! So, yeah, a while ago we were asked to 'do a wall', it's actually more complicated that it sounds and it took us a few days to get the wall exactly how we wanted it - luckily we had an ideal wall at our studio. So here it is - (it goes live on Supermarket Sarah on 17th Jan.

A New Face at Me&Yu

It's always great when people appreciate what we do - it's even nicer when people offer their time to help us along the way. In the never-ending battle to grow our little label, finding time for promoting our brand is always tricky so when one of our lovely customers, Roxanne Nejad offered her time and expertise we just couldn't say no! Hallo Roxanne and welcome to the wonderful world of Me&Yu!
