Last Post

We've decided to say goodbye to blogger, our posts had become a bit sporadic the past month as we had some big orders to fulfil, went on a little holiday and have been working on our new website.
We designed the new site layout to allow us to create more crafted 'blog' entries straight onto our website, so it becomes more magazine like, then shorter 'news' posts will be posted to Facebook, this all kind of made our blogger site redundant - so this is it, the last post!!!!.
Check out our site here and our facebook here

Lots of love

Handmade & Handprinted Tropical T-Shirts

It's taken us a while but we've finally produced our first handmade and handprinted (full body) t-shirt!!!!Produced in our Manchester studio using English fine knitted jersey, handprinted all over in our handrawn tropical  design - think P-eye-napples and Palm (hand) trees. We would have had these online earlier but the first batch we made sold out straight away.Made to a similar pattern as our standard t-shirts but with longer body and sleeve length, they are truly Made in Britain.

Me&Yu x Blackpool!!!!!!!

I sort of hate those x's that people put in collaborations, but I couldn't think of anything else for the title.
Anyway for those of you that don't know, tomorrow our Blackpool based pop-up shop - Me&FYC opens (11am).
So to celebrate this momentous event we've produced 3 limited edition Blackpool themed t-shirts, here's a sneak peek at them

Under the Town Festival

Me&Yu are pleased to announce we will be taking part in this years Under the Town Festival in Blackpool this weekend, here's all the info -

Under The Town, is back for it's second year on Saturday 4th August at the Grundy Art Gallery from 3pm to 10pm.
This major event is organised by a group of 27 young people completing their Arts Award with Blackpool Arts Service and will form part of the Blaze summer programme of events. Under The Town will showcase an exciting line up of musical talent with ten bands and singer-songwriters from Blackpool and the North West playing sets of original music. Headline acts include The Colours and sets from DJ Ben Marshall and the Boom Bike Big Band.

It will also feature films, amazing visuals and fashion shows all created by the young festival producers with guidance from professional artists. The fashion shows and visuals will use special lighting techniques to create different atmospheres in each of the spaces, including a chill out den with fairy lights. The young people have produced the content for the festival in response to the Centenary of Blackpool Illuminations and the current exhibition at Grundy by major UK artist Brian Griffiths. Click here for more info
We'll be having a pop-up stall, and will be exclusively revealing 3 brand new designs !!!!!
